5-foot-11 Quinn Arnold is an impressive and skilled athlete at the small forward position with a quick release jump shot. At her secondary position, she is a confident sharp-shooting guard. Perfect form on the follow through. Squares up nicely to the basket on the perimeter, and has the ability to finish. Solid ball-handling skills. Aggressively challenges the defense while driving to the basket, including a great crossover dribble. Great hustle down the court. Anticipates well with fast break passes. Can finish with either hand. Athleticism is obvious as a 3-sport varsity athlete. Quinn is a natural on the court. Outstanding long reach, which is an advantage getting up and over opponents in the paint. Quick on her feet offensively and defensively – very agile for 5-11. Solid strength when going up for rebounds. Serious student with a 4.41 weighted GPA.

My name is Quinn Arnold, and I am a 2022 graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar H.S. in Lexington, Kentucky. I am 5-foot-11 and my main positions are small forward or shooting guard, but I am very versatile and can play where needed. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.81 and a weighted GPA of 4.41. I scored a 25 on the ACT. In college, my desire is to pursue a degree in the medical field that will allow me to become a pediatrician or a sports physician. Something that stands out about me is my resilience in the face of adversity. My freshman year, I sustained two concussions and have undergone a facet of therapies to come back to the sport I love.

My competitiveness, desire, adaptability, understanding of the game, length, quickness and versatility make me a special athlete. I look to get better in any way I can at all times. During the offseason, I work out at the YMCA, on zoom with my AAU coach, and stay on the court 3-4 times a week. I also go on runs 2-3 times a week to keep myself in the best shape possible. Before all of that, of course, is academics. I have been in honors classes for the majority of my schooling. As of right now, I’m taking three AP classes (calculus, literature, psychology). Each year I receive an academic award at our banquet, and I am also a member of the National Honors Society.

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile, and I hope you consider me for your program!
