5-foot-7, 130 pounds. LHP/OF/bats L. True 2-way player. 60 mph fastball and bats No. 3 or 4 in lineup. In the circle, throws 5 pitches (fastball, riseball, changeup, curveball, screwball and dropball) and averages 1+ strikeouts per inning. Very good accuracy with fastball. Dropball is top offspeed pitch (55 mph, drops late, accurate, gets a lot of grounders with it). Throws circle change (40-44 mph, good deception, can throw for strikes). Riseball has good control (58 mph). Curveball (55-58 mph) and screwball (55 mph) are pitches recently learned. Has a good release point and landing. Working to get more drive to increase velocity. At the plate, makes solid contact consistently. Bats .400+ with .500 OBP. Good hip turn, utilized lower half to generate power. With good speed (2.92 20-yard, 3.28 home-1st on contact), sometimes bunts/slaps to get on base. Drives inside pitches. Working to hit to opposite field on outside pitches. In the outfield, covers a lot of ground with her speed. Vocal. Knows the game well and game situations. Working on judging the ball better off the bat. Excellent student (3.95 GPA with advanced classes).

Isabel is an exceptional athlete who excels in not only softball but other sports as well. She has very good control pitching and can place her fastball very well. She’s improved on her speed throughout the winter and is now averging 60 mph with a ton more upside. Has good control on riseball but needs to keep working hard on consistent spin. Has a great changeup and dropball to keep hitters off balance. Working on being more explosive of the mound and get stronger in the weight room to increase velocity. She’s also a great outfielder with outstanding range and a strong arm. Isabel is a tremendous hitter with great combination of contact and power. Hits lots of doubles, triples and occasional HRs. Has great speed and runs bases exceptionally well. Has a very high softball IQ. Very aggressive hitter, which can sometimes lead to a bad pitch selection but not often. Needs to continue to work on opposite-field hitting. She’s a 5-tool player with tremendous upside. Sky is the limit for her on the softball field. One of her biggest assets is her coachability. She listens very well and always puts in extra work. She has tremendous character, great personality, great teammate and shows all the skills of leadership. She has very strong work ethic and is very determined to reach her goals. We are very excited for what the future holds for Isabel and continue to watch her growth within the Outlawz organization.

My name is Isabel Royle, and I am 5-7 and 130 pounds. I attend Sun Prairie (WI) High School in the class of 2023. I have a GPA of 3.95, class rank of 41 out of 618 students, and I’m currently undecided on a major. I am a left-handed pitcher and outfielder with a 60 mph fastball and an OF throwing velocity of 59 mph. At the plate, I bat No. 3 or 4 in the lineup, have an average over .400, and own a 20-yard dash of 2.92 seconds.

As an athlete, I have truly found my love for softball and worked to better every angle of the game. On the mound, I have multiple pitches, including fastball, riseball, dropball, curveball and change-up. I take it upon myself on the field, on the mound or in the box to understand and analyze situations to have a clear plan on what I need to accomplish. To better myself outside of games, I take time before and after school to get in weight training, workouts and pitching lessons. In school, I take opportunities to challenge myself with AP classes. This year, I am in AP U.S. history and next year I will be in AP psychology. I was a part of National Juniors Honors Society and one of five students in my class to be Cardinal of the Year, which represents putting forth the best academic effort.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me, and I hope we can talk soon.
