evaluations

5-foot-7, 145 pounds. SS/3B. R/R. Bats No. 3 for high school team. Gap-to-gap extra-base type hitter. Uses legs well to generate power. Smart at plate. Aware of count and looks for her pitch. Crushes inside pitches. Working on hitting outside pitches to opposite field better. Likes to swing (working on taking more pitches), but rarely strikes out. At SS/3B, good range. Quick actions. Good backhand. Knowledgeable about the game. Loves game. Very dedicated to improving. Stays after practice for up to 45 minutes to extra work in. Very good student (3.5 GPA, National Honors Society).

MESSAGE FROM GRACE

My name is Grace Wickman, and I am a 2021 graduate at Peshtigo High School in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. I am 5-foot-7 and weigh 145 pounds and my primary positions are shortstop and third base. My GPA is 3.5 and my college major is currently undecided. As a sophomore, I batted .407 and made 2nd-Team All-Conference as a pitcher. As a freshman, I had a .422 batting average and made 1st-Team All-Region.

My work ethic makes me a special athlete, because every weekend during the off-season I go to school and hit and take ground balls for about 1.5 to 2 hours. During the season, I stay after practice and hit. During summer, I go to the field at least 3-5 times a week. During these workouts, I hit off a tee, do soft toss, front toss and take ground balls. I am very passionate about this sport, and I put a lot of extra work in to reach my goals, because I am never satisfied with where I’m at.

Thank you for your time, and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
