Dreams becoming reality

ScoutU scouts have guided hundreds of athletes to play in college at schools all over the country at all levels.

“You definitely separate yourself from the rest by personally scouting players at the showcases and building up relationships with the college coaches.”
— Paul Sippy, dad of Kurtis

GET SCOUTED. GET RECRUITED.

At ScoutU, a family-owned and operated company, we help student-athletes in all sports that have the desire, talent, work ethic, character and academic resume to play in college. We are not just a do-it-yourself website that anyone can join. First, we evaluate athletes and qualify them to be ScoutU prospects. Then, we guide the athletes and their families through the college recruiting process by coming up with an individual game plan for each athlete to significantly increase their chances to get recruited by schools that are the best fit for him or her. Our scouts have personally guided over 800 athletes move on to play in college. Our experience and methods greatly increase our student-athlete’s exposure opportunities to colleges at all levels (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, JUCO) across the country.

We are local

Our scouts usually live near the athletes they are helping. With our scouts being local, we know what it’s like to go through the recruiting process as an athlete from their area. Local pride shines through our scouts!

We SCOUT LIVE

We are at games, tournaments and showcase events — oftentimes all day and into the evening — scouting players and personally talking and building relationships with college coaches from all over the country.

We have standards

We only help student-athletes that have the athletic and academic talent, work ethic and character to play in college. Colleges trust that we will only let them know about players that can play at the college level.

We are personal

We attend our athletes’ games and events and give UNLIMITED support to our athletes. When possible, we meet with athletes and their parents in their home — not on the phone — to get to know them and qualify them.

COMMITMENT STORIES

These are the recruiting stories of ScoutU athletes. ScoutU oftentimes writes stories on its athletes after they commit to a college. All have unique stories on how ScoutU helped them with their recruiting and the recruiting journey they took. Click below to read their stories.

what athletes and parents have to say

WE HAVE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH COLLEGE COACHES

“Kurtis ended up getting 22 colleges that wanted him to visit. Even after committing, he is still receiving interest from other schools on a weekly basis. You definitely separate yourself from the rest by personally scouting players at the showcases and building up relationships with the college coaches.”

Paul Sippy, dad of Kurtis

Oak Creek H.S., College of Lake County

“Scott helped get in contact with colleges and schools that I was interested in and also introduced me to schools that I had not thought about. Scott has so many connections and ScoutU has such an excellent reputation that he was able to introduce me to colleges and give them an honest opinion on what kind of player I am.”

Sami Cook

Jeffersontown H.S., Indiana University Southeast

WE OPEN UP MORE OPTIONS FOR OUR ATHLETES

“Since enrolling with ScoutU, I had around 50 schools contact me. Jason Lauren and ScoutU had an enormous impact on my recruiting process in terms of throughly explaining how the process works, specifically for me, and putting my name out so more colleges were aware of me. I wouldn’t be the player I am now without the help that ScoutU recruiting gave me.”

Katie Hansen
Fremd H.S., Hamilton College (NY)

“With ScoutU, I received a lot more attention from schools I didn’t know existed most of the time. ScoutU really broadened my options, gave me more options and really helped me understand the recruiting process to another level!”

Ashley Fauske

Kaukauna H.S., Northern State University

WE PLACE OUR ATHLETES AT TOP SCHOOLS

“When we first met at the end of July, just prior to Connor’s senior year in high school, we were struggling with the baseball recruiting process and what to do to market Connor more effectively. We were concerned that Connor might have missed his opportunity for a baseball scholarship. Your guidance and advice certainly pointed us in the right direction so that we could use our resources and very limited time wisely. By following your suggestions, Connor was exposed to a host of college baseball coaches who were interested in him. The email blast and mailing resulted in dozens of responses from coaches, which ultimately led to Connor having multiple offers to evaluate. We are thrilled that Connor will be playing baseball at the University of Notre Dame in the fall. Thank you for all of your assistance and help in the recruiting process.”

Tammy Jo Hock, mom of Connor

Bay Port H.S., University of Notre Dame

“A big thank you to you for helping our daughter’s dream come true! Through the process, you were there for us every step of the way. You were careful to provide guidance without bias or emotion, so that the decisions were ours to make. I always appreciated your quick responses to my questions and accessibility through email, texting and Facebook. Amanda has earned a full-tuition scholarship, half academic and half athletic, and we know she has worked hard all these years to develop her skills to make this possible, but without you, Jason, this wouldn’t have become a reality.”

“Scott really helped me and put me out there and was always trying to get me seen and to make me better. He was great to be able to work with, because he got to know who you truly were and what was best for you and always told you the truth . He didn’t only help me with softball, but if I needed something, he was always there and would have my back!”
